MY ILLUSTRATION JOURNEY

My name is Yuqing Ge. I am an illustrator living in New York City with my two dogs. My illustration approach mainly focusses on children’s books and picture books for young adults. I get inspiration from my dogs and mythical beings from books. And I enjoy playing with strong color palettes and come out with colorful drawings. My working techniques include both digital and traditional ways. On the side, I also make ceramics, murals, sculptures, and installations.

Over the course of my career, I have rich experiences collaborating with art projects including murals, museum products, and publishing in my many internships with design, visual arts companies and publishers.
